The science club have been busy making volcanoes out of salt dough and a bottle. They then made them erupt. They needed food colouring, washing up liquid, baking soda and vinegar. They loved seeing their volcano “blow their top”

Gold Sports Scotland Award
On Friday 10th November Jane from Sports Scotland came to present us with our Award. We are all proud of our achievement and it was great to hear some feedback about our application. There were 13 people looked at our application so it was well scrutinised. The photographer from the Standard came to take our photograph. Well done everyone!!
Halloween Parties
We came straight back to school to the Halloween Parties. The three different parties went really well and the children all enjoyed themselves. The Nursery children enjoyed their party with Molly Mixture. At all of the parties the costumes were fab and there were some fantastic pumpkins. Well done to everyone and a huge thank you to all the CPA members and parents who helped out. The children loved the sticky doughnuts and dooking for apples. Here are some photos.
Harvest Bags
At the end of term the children brought in donations for our Harvest Table. This was part of our Harvest assembly which was led by P2/3/4. As usual everyone was so generous and this year we filled 3 tables. The house captains made up the bags and with Mrs C they delivered them round the Community to people who had been nominated. This year we also decided to donate some to the Foodbank Charity on the Vennel. Mrs Watson, Kasey, Hannah and Kloe delivered them to Foodbank. They were very grateful as they have a lot of families who use their service. Thank you to everyone who donated towards our Harvest Bags.
