At Calside, we have a very enthusiastic Parent Council and the committee members work very hard on behalf of the school as a whole. The Council provides support for a wide range of school activities, both educational and social, and is a means by which parents can become more deeply involved in the life of the school.

The school fundraises across the year, and we would like to thank all of our pupils, parents and partner agencies for their support.

Events include Christmas Fair, the summer BBQ and sponsored events. The funds are used towards school trips, parties and additional equipment such as computer software or musical instruments.

What can you do?

• Support all functions.
• Give help wherever possible.
• Suggest new ideas.
• Offer to serve on the committee.
• Come along to our Annual General Meeting (date will be sent in a newsletter).
