23rd: Back to school

23rd and 24th: P3 and P4 parental drop-in sessions to support with the new e-passports (see separate letter for details)

24th: P5-P7 First Aid training in school

24th: P2-P4 cricket sessions start

25th: Secondary staff visiting P7 to begin the transition process

26th: D&G STEM conference- our digital leaders are running workshops (if your child is involved, you will have been contacted separately)

29th: Clubs Block 4 starts (letters sent out individually for each club to the relevant classes)

29th: Time for Reflection 9.30 a.m.


6th: May Bank Holiday- school closed

8th: P5-P7 trip to Titanic, Belfast

10th: P7 Ainslie Irvine tournament

14th: School Photographs (classes)

15th, 16th & 17th: P7 residential to Lockerbie Manor

20th: Walk to School week

20th: P2 Showcase Assembly

22nd: Drop-in session for P7 parents to review pupil profiles

23rd: Childline workshops for the whole school

24th: First date for Sports Day (this will be dependent on the weather!)

27th: P1 Showcase Assembly

31st: First reserve date for Sports Day (again weather-dependent)

31st: Clubs Block 4 ends


7th: Reports due out

10th: P1 assembly presentation to parents and incoming P1s 9.30 a.m.

19th, 20th and 21st June: P7 induction days at High School

19th: Moving On afternoon: children to spend the afternoon in their new classes

19th: New P1 pupils visiting 1.30-2.45; Parents of new P1s in the Hall for session

20th: Moving On morning: children to spend the morning in their new classes

20th: New P1 pupils visiting 11.15-1.15

24th: Teddy Bears’ Picnic for new P1 pupils with their Buddies (pupils who are currently in┬áP6)

25th: P7 Leavers’ Ceremony 6 p.m.

27th: P7 Leavers’ trip

28th: end of term assembly 9.30 a.m.

28th: end for the summer holidays

Please note addition of P7 Induction , P1 Induction and Moving On dates.

Pupils return Wednesday 21st August 2019.
