Unfortunately there will be no class updates via ClassDojo today since we received instructions from Dumfries and Galloway Council that Dojo no longer meets data regulations. We have asked for clarity as Mr McIlorum and myself completed the Data Impact assessment required by law, and therefore we are unsure as to why this has occurred. The staff and pupils find Dojo as useful as you do as parents/carers, so we will be working to try and find a suitable replacement. We will advise as soon as we can.

P1-P4 look forward to welcoming you to “Come and Join Us” on Tuesday 12^th September in the afternoon. This is a chance for you to see what life is like in class, meet the teachers and see what the children are learning. Come for the whole session from 1.30 p.m. or just drop in when you can before the end of school.

Fingers crossed that good weather holds for the Parent Council BBQ on Saturday 16^th September 3-6 p.m. The Parent Council raise valuable funds for the school so the children can enjoy activities such as Christmas parties and Easter Fun, as well as supporting with resources in class and also with school trips to reduce the costs for all. If you can help for a few hours, or if you can send donations for the raffle and tombola, it is much appreciated. P7 are also looking for donations for the Cake and Candy stall: the funds they raise go towards their P7 trip at the end of the year.
