Primary 2 – Maths activities
We enjoyed exploring a variety of maths activities today.
Some of us worked out the value of the plastic rods.
Others practiced ordering numbers.
Other children played the turtle game where we need to remember where numbers are. This helps improve our concentration as well as our number skills.
Primary 2 – Show and tell
We had an opportunity this week to show and tell.
We learned about conkers and how to tell the age of a tree.
We enjoyed more home made puppets.
Primary 2- Cress update
Time to trim the cress hair and enjoy!
Primary 2 – Cooking
And finally we used some of the produce we saw at the farm to make a pudding.
Apples and plums were cut up and put in the baking tray with honey. We used an egg and milk to mix with flour to make a batter which we poured over the fruit. After baking we enjoyed tasting the pudding.
Primary 2 – Success assembly
We have been learning a new song which we hope to sing at the success assembly.
Primary 2 – Play in a pod
P2 enjoyed playing outdoors with P6 and P1 experimenting , problem solving, co-operating and just having GOOD FUN!
Primary 2 – Fit Thursday
Today we practised skills in gymnastics, learned some dances, played football and table tennis and bowled. We also made posters to tell our friends how good milk is for our bodies, as well as playing a new maths game involving jumping.
Primary 2 – Star pupils
