We had a lovely morning at Dalmore Farm finding out more about where food comes from.

When we collected eggs we had to be very gentle. Some of the eggs were still warm!

What funny creatures chickens are! They enjoyed the corn we gave them and stole some of the milk intended for the pigs.

We saw fruit  ( apples, plums and blackberries) growing on the farm.

The pigs were very greedy. They drank the milk by the time we counted to 38!

We even learned more about bees and honey.

Where does honey  come from?

P.2 know…. and the honey bees have been out looking for nectar!

We used sticks to make number sentences for the teen numbers.

We used natural materials to make 2D shapes.

It’s fun making huge letters.

It was quite tricky milking the cow!
