Enterprise in P4/5

We are planning and organising a Gaming Day to raise money for our School. The children of P4/5 have arranged everything from planning the activity to creating timetables and advertising.

Have a look at some of the skills we have been learning and using this week.

First of all we made a mind map and discussed what we would need to make “Gaming Day” possible.

Advertising- We made some posters to display on the school notice board.

We updated our blog to spread the word around school electronically. The children of P4/5 thought this was the most Eco Friendly way of advertising.

We made timetables for each game to make sure we all get a fair turn.

Kaileb and Kieran prepared a short speech and went around all the classes on Thursday to remind and encourage the children from other classes to bring 20p to join in the Friday Fun. Kaileb decided it was best to show the game cases to try and sell our Gaming Day and make it look and sound as fun and enjoyable as possible.  I must say I was very impressed with your advertising and sales techniques you were both very persuasive!

All our hard work paid off,  just look at the fun we had.

We raised a whopping £56 from Gaming Day. Thank you to all who came along to support us. We hope you had fun.
