We went to the local shop and bought some things to make sandwiches. We cut them into quarters to help us understand fractions. Half of the class understood it right away, but don’t worry, the other half got it eventually!
On Monday we took lots of physical equipment outside. We played jolly hockey sticks, skipping and some mini-tennis.
Today we went outside to look at the wind turbine and the solar panels. We are going to record how much energy they both produce for the school. We also learned about fractions. We used Oliver’s jammie dodgers. We cut them into two equal halves and enjoyed eating them. Tomorrow we are going to make our own sandwiches and cut them into quarters.
On Friday we did some science experiments to see what would happen when we dropped a bath bomb in hot water. Guess what? It started to fizz, changed colour, shrunk in size and almost disappeared. We had lots of fun!
Please note our gym days are now on a Wednesday and a Thursday.
As promised here is your child’s allocated house.
