Today we explored frost outside. We collected frosty things and brought them back to nursery to see what happened. One of the boy’s granny put salt on her path last night, so we tried putting salt on the ice to see what happened. The salty ice melted faster!

Nursery enrolment
Nuresery enrolment is on January 23rd. We are having an open night for parents of children who might like to come to our nursery on Tuesday 17th January from 4-5pm. If you have any friends who would like to look around then please let them know.

Woods Walk!
Next week we are planning our walks to the woods. We are hoping to do a wooly worm hunt, a sticky picture and find a stick to be our own stick man! Afternoon children are going on Tuesday and Morning class are going on Friday. Maybe we will find a Gruffalo …

Dinosaur Songs
5 Enormous Dinosaurs
5 enormous dinosaurs letting our a roar,
1 went away and then there were 4.
4 enormous dinosaurs crashing down a tree,
1 went away and that left 3.
3 enormous dinosaurs eating tiger stew,

As tall as a Apatosaurus, eating on a tree.
Using your claws, grumble and growl,
Just like Tyrannosaurus on the prowl!
