Good morning everyone. Are you all looking forward to the Easter holidays? Hopefully the weather will stay good so that you can get into the garden for some outdoor learning.
I’ve changed the name of my Friday challenge, as I thought ‘Feel-Good Friday’ sounded better than ‘Crafty Friday’, so that’s what it will be called from now on.
Mrs Flockton’s ‘Design a Garden’ challenge made me think about an activity that I used to enjoy doing as a child, and I thought you might like to try it too.
Click on the Sway to find out more …
I hope you enjoy the activity. Remember to take a photo of your creation and either email it to me or stick it in your Learning Journal.
Have a lovely break and I’ll be back with more fun challenges for you to try after the holidays.
P4 have been enjoying playing mental maths games on the Digipuzzle website – Pacman is one of their favourites. Today I found a new Pacman game to play – Easter Words.
Have a look at the Sway to see some of my suggestions for some other games you could play. You’ll also find links to the website there.
I hope you have fun trying some of them. Let me know which ones you’ve tried by leaving a comment on the blog. 🙂
Hello everyone, I hope you all enjoyed the story of Tangrams. If you haven’t already watched it you can follow the link of the grid.
Follow my sway to create your own Tangram set. You don’t need to print off a cut out sheet as you can easily fold an A4 page correctly and get all the shapes you need.
She’s very friendly and pretty smart too. I’ve trained her to sit, lie down, give a paw and jump up on her hind legs. However, she also likes getting up to mischief. Some of you may already have heard about her exploits – like sleeping in the kitchen drawer, getting stuck on the garage roof, or hiding 56 (yes, 56!) clothes pegs under the tumble-dryer. She would carry them in her mouth, line them up in front of the tumble-dryer, and shoot them under it with her paw as if she was scoring a goal.
Imagine if she came to stay with you … what kind of adventures would you have together? Who would get into more trouble – you or her?
Why not write a short story about what you would both get up to? Remember – she IS mischievous – and very smart!
