Involvement of stakeholders

Stakeholders all provide an input into the school improvement journey.  It is essential that learners voices are part of discussions and the How good is OUR school?  resource supports this input.  This can be accessed at: How good is OUR school? Part 2  Learner Participation is fundamental to the success of Curriculum for Excellence and there is guidance available at: Learner Participation in Educational Settings (3-18).

It is also essential that parents and carers are involved in the improvement journey of a school and have an understanding of the learning, teaching and assessment processes that take place.  Parentzone Scotland | Education Scotland provides relevant information.

The views of learners, staff, parents and carers and partner agencies are regularly sought by all of our schools in Aberdeenshire through a range of approaches.  These views contribute to the ongoing drive for improvement across all settings.
