Introduction
Welcome to the Learning, Teaching and Assessment site created to support the delivery of high quality learning experiences for all children and young people within schools in Aberdeenshire.
We are currently working on updating this site and adding new materials.
The Northern Alliance Toolkit can be used to support improvement activity around Learning, Teaching and Assessment through five themes:
Building a Shared Understanding
Environment, Experiences and Interactions
Pace, Challenge and Differentiation
Learner Participation and Ownership of Learning
Effective Use of Data
In addition we encourage all of our schools to be accessing Teaching Walkthrus to support consistent, highly effective teaching and learning approaches.
We also ask all of our schools in Aberdeenshire to engage with the CIRCLE resource which supports best practice for inclusion in schools and nurseries.
