Grange Nursery…….where learning through play matters!
At Grange Nursery, we adopt a practical child-centred approach, where children are respected as individuals and encouraged to learn and develop at their own pace within a home from home environment.
The needs of the individual child are paramount we work together to create initiatives, supply resources and provide a nurturing environment to ensure every child’s interests, safety and happiness is central to everything we do.
We have a main nursery room with the blue room attached giving children space to learn through play. We also have our Sunshine room, a quieter sensory space to support children with additional support needs or those children who need some time to regulate.
Our outdoor garden is currently under development but are fortunate to have fantastic school grounds and surrounding community areas to explore.
A few years ago, the nursery and P1 playground were merged into our “Onery” where children play and learn together. This supports our transition programme through out the year as children benefit for he use of the space and the interactions with different staff.
We are constantly looking at ways to improve and asking for your feedback. Each year we develop an improvement plan based on our own self evaluation and parent / carer feedback. This sessions can be found below:
