Dear Parents and Carers,
Where has this term gone? What a busy and productive term we have had, I cannot believe we are almost at the end of 2025!!
Only 3 sleeps until Christmas and we have alll enjoyed a festive final week of term…
Christmas Cheer – Thank you so much to everyone who managed along last Friday to enjoy the children performing their Christmas songs. Thank you for also buying Christmas raffle tickets, reindeer food and guessing the Gingerbread Man’s birthday. I am delighted that you raised around £600 and we will discuss with the children what is needed in school next term.
The children certainly provided lots of Christmas cheer and I hope you all left feeling warm and festively fuzzy. I would like to thank the staff for their hard work in preparing for Friday, a great time was had by all!
Decider Skills– On our recent Inset days, most staff were trained in Decider Skills by NHS staff. We look forward to looking at this next term as part of our Health and Wellbeing programme.
NHS Tayside also run parent / carer courses that support a consistent approach being used at home and in school. Please see below a flyer and a link for information and booking about some new sessions being delivered for parents/carers by CAMHS. Â

Multi Cultural Fortnight –  After the holidays we will embark on our on a mini topic covering our religious and morale outcomes and experiences. Each stage will learn about a different religion and compare with Christianity. We will then celebrate World Religion Week by sharing our learning at Learn to Learn on Friday 23rd January.
“Grange Museum” – The theme for learning, following our Multi Cultural fortnight, will be a historical one. Each stage has chosen a theme and the learning from the chosen era will follow the children’s interests.
