Yuss! The library has the fan new edition of Guinness World Records for 2017!
Clishmaclaver asked Pupil Library Assistant, Chloe A., what her favourite record was, and she came up with two!
First a Fast Fact: “This ice-glazed car shows the chilling aftermath of an ice storm – [See
n here] after freezing rain in Switzerland, in 2012. To qualify as an ice storm, the rain must leave at least a 0.25-in-thick (6.36-mm) coating of ice on exposed surfaces.” For more mind-boggling facts, read page 33!
Longest Monster Truck: the Sin City Hustler is a 32-ft-long (9.7-m) monster truck. It stands 12 ft (3.6 m) tall, weighs a hefty 15,000 lb (6,800 kg) – about the same as a bull elephant – and can accommodate 12 passengers. For more titanic trivia, read page 99!
