Dinner with Obama?

If I ruled the world…Oh okay then, Scotland…

So, you may have heard that the 44th President of the United States will be addressing philanthropy and business leaders at a dinner in Edinburgh on 26th May 2017 at the EICC.

How cool would it be to have dinner with Barack Obama? Well…

Sir Tom Hunter is calling on Scottish secondary school pupils to compete to win a table at Scotland’s most amazing dinner in May this year. The Hunter Foundation is donating one table of ten to a secondary school group.

All you have to do is write an essay that summarises what your school would do if you ran Scotland. What would you change, why would you change it and how?
The essay must be a maximum of two pages. Be as creative as you like and also tell us how you’ll select the ten attendees on your table should you win.

The closing date for entries is Monday 15 May. To enter, you must get permission from your school. They will be responsible for getting you to and from the event if you win so you’ll need to keep them informed.
