The Grampian Children’s Book Award Cermony took place on the 8th of May at Aberdeen University. A group of S3 pupils from BODA attended the event where they heard four of the shortlisted authors – Dave Cousins, Barry Hutchison, Mark Lowery and Cathy MacPhail – give highly entertaining talks and answer questions from the audience. The afternoon ended with the announcement of the winning book , A Monster Calls by Patrick Ness. Unfortunately the author was unable to attend the Ceremony due to overseas commitments

For the second year running  BODA had a winner in the poster competition. Well done to Allana who won 2nd prize.
