Challenge 1: Ask an adult to jumble up the questions and see if you can answer them

Challenge 2: Ask an adult to say the answer and you say the question.

I– It’s Nothing New: Adding with Pim (Step 4): I can add tenths. Example: 0.4+0.3=0.7, using he facts that are already known; 3+4, 30+40. 300+400 etc.

Challenge 1: Ask an adult to jumble up the questions and see if you can answer them

Challenge 2: Ask an adult to say the answer and you say the question.

I– It’s Nothing New: Where’s Mully (Step 3): I can find Mully using 10 lots and a Tables Fact.

C– Calculations: Division (Step 19: 2,3,4 and 5 times tables): I can combine 2 or more tables facts to solve division (with remainders). 68 divided by 5 =.

CLIC Targets wb 12.11.2018

C– Counting: Count Fourways : I can count in 25s, 250s, 2500s; applying the same concept across larger numbers.

L– Learn Its: Revision of x4 tables: Learning the answers, off by heart, in a click!!

Challenge 1: Ask an adult to jumble up the questions and see if you can answer them

Challenge 2: Ask an adult to say the answer and you say the question.

I– It’s Nothing New: Coin Multiplication (Step 3): I can complete a full coin card

C– Calculations: Division (Step 18: 2,3,4 and 5 times tables): I can combine 2 or more tables facts to solve division. 65 divided by 5 =. Think of 5 lots. see how many more there are, add on how many lots this is too.

CLIC Targets wb 5.11.18

C– Counting: Count Fourways (Step 6): I can count in 0.2s Example: 3.2, 3.4, 3.6, 3.8

L– Learn Its: Revision of x3 tables: Learning the answers, off by heart, in a click!!

Challenge 1: Ask an adult to jumble up the questions and see if you can answer them

Challenge 2: Ask an adult to say the answer and you say the question.

I– It’s Nothing New: Doubling with Pim (Step 3 Crossing 10): I can double 2d numbers. Example: Double 26 is 52. Partition the two numbers= 20 and 6, double the tens (20-40), double the units (6-12), put them back together (40 + 12= 52)

C– Calculations: Division (Step 18: 2,3,4 and 5 times tables): I can combine 2 or more tables facts to solve division. 65 divided by 5 =. Think of 5 lots. see how many more there are, add on how many lots this is too,

CLIC Targets wb 01.10.18

C– Counting: CORE Numbers (Step 4): I can understand 3d numbers. E.g.: Order numbers by their hundreds digit, if the same, order by the tens digit, if the same, order by the units digit;

232, 233, 234

L– Learn Its: Adding with near doubles (Step 8): Lean on the doubles concept as an anchorage point. 6+8, 5+7, 5+8,

Use the notion of adding 9 being ‘add on 10 then take away 1’. 5+9, 6+9, 7+9;

Revision of the full 2x tables.

I– It’s Nothing New: x10 (Step 1): I can multiply whole numbers by 10. E.g 13 x 10 = 130; Remember to place a zero on the units end, this moves the digits one place to the left, so this makes the number 10 times bigger.

C– Calculations: Multiplication (Step 13: 6, 7, 8 & 9 times tables): I can do any Smile Multiplication. E.g.: 80 x 70. Do the tables bit, count the zeros in the question, put the zeros on your answer.

CLIC Targets wb 25.09.2018

C– Counting: Squiggleworth (Step 4): I can partition a 2dp number. E.g.: 2.38

L– Learn Its: Adding with near doubles (Step 8): 5+4=, 5+6=; use the knowledge of 5+5=. 6+7=, 8+7 can use the fact of 7+7=; therefore the 8+9= can be aided through the knowledge of 8+8= or 9+9=. Revision of the 5x tables.

I– It’s Nothing New: Smile Multiplication (Step 3): I can write Smile Multiplication families. E.g 30×7=210,

 C– Calculations: Multiplication (Step 12: 6, 7, 8 & 9 times tables)

CLIC Targets wb 17-09-2018

C– Counting: Squiggleworth (Step 4): I can partition a 2dp number. E.g.: 2.38

L– Learn Its: Adding 3 and adding 4 (Step 7): 7+4=, 8+4=, 9+4=, 8+3=, 9+3=; we have discussed many strategies and ways to help us remember / work out these questions. Revision of the 10x tables.

I– It’s Nothing New: Adding with Pim (Step 3): I can add thousands. E.g 3000+4000=7000 as we know 3+4=7…30+40=70,…300+400=700 “Swap the ‘thing’ to thousands”

C– Calculations: Multiplication (Step 12: 6, 7, 8 & 9 times tables): I can solve any 1d x 1d. Practise of tables that children feel less confident about. A good resource to use is the game Hit the Button, here is a link. (Tablet friendly)

CLIC Targets wb 10-09-2018

C– Counting: Squiggleworth (Step 3): I can partition a 1dp number. E.g.: 2.3

L– Learn Its: Doubles beyond 5: This seems crazy but often when focusing on tales for a long time, we lose our speed at recalling addition with certain numbers. This revision will help children with their Learn Its test on Fridays. 6+6, 7+7, 8+8, 9+9 to be answered in a CLICK!!!
