We we’re learning about healthy food and recipes during our Healthy Topic. With Miss Morrison, we made three different recipes: toast, milkshakes and fruit skewers. We all got to taste a bit of everything and then we decided what was our favourite!!
Sumdog Competition Starts Today!
We have entered and qualified for the latest Sumdog competition so we hope that everyone can get some time at home during the weekend and during next week too to try and do as well as we possibly can!!
First Aid Training
Our Primary 5 children will be trained in First Aid tomorrow by a qualified First Aid trainer, visiting the school…just wait for the photos….

Yoga- Week 2
Today we enjoyed some different yoga skills. We did a lot of practice on stretches and moves, we were introduced to the camel today too. The games we played were lots of fun too. We walked out into downward dog and then did a handstand on the walls. We also had an obstacle course activity where in each row, every second person was either in cat pose or downward dog pose. Each of us had to go under the dog and over the cat. It turned into a race and was lots of fun!!!!
Sports Day 2019
We had so much fun taking part in our Sports Day races. We ran in a running race, a tatty and spoon race, a sack race and a crab race.
It was hilarious watching the mums, dads and teachers in their races too!!!!
Yoga- Week 1
Today we enjoyed our first session of yoga. We were trying out new poses like downward dog and cat pose. We also balanced our legs onto the back of our partner which was very tricky. We were learning to take a minute of silence and feel the air breathing into our lungs and learning to relax and unwind.
Healthy Eating Short Read Task Maps
We started off our new topic ‘Healthy’ by learning about food groups. We had to read a short comprehension and complete tasks in our pairs and trios. We help each other out the answers and all record the same answer. We also change the reader each week to allow us all a chance to read.
Aberdeen Youth Games at ASV
Our primary 5’s went to the Aberdeen Youth Games today!!! They enjoyed games like basketball, hockey and tennis!!! Here are some photos of the basketball games in the indoor court of the Aberdeen Sports Village.
RGU Students’ Tennis Week
We enjoyed having the RGU students visit us again for a session on Tennis skills. We played a variety of games to work on our tennis ball skills.
