Sanctions

1. Spoken reminder
2. Moved to work in another area within the class
3. Moved to work in another class or Headteacher’s office if appropriate
4. Phone call to parents
5. If disruptive behaviour is ongoing, a behaviour plan will be drawn up with the school, child and parent.

Rewards

Pompoms will be awarded for kindness, respect and hard work

A running total of pompoms awarded will be kept

50 = bronze certificate

75 = Silver certificate

100 = gold certificate

125 = platinum certificate

150 = Diamond certificate

When a whole class reaches an award level they will choose a class reward.

Head teacher awards are also available

Sanctions in the Playground

1. Expectation – play nicely – kind hands, feet and words
2. Spoken reminder
3. Yellow card – encouraged to move into another game
4. Red Card – 10 mins time out in the cloakroom
5. Phone call to parents – a behaviour plan for playtimes will be agreed with the school, parents and the child and a privilege will be removed
