Dalintober Eco Group were amazed when they visited their allotment for the first time this term. They discovered an abundance of fruit and vegetables had sprouted during the summer including: marrows, potatoes, tomatoes, rhubarb and even an apple!

Your crops look amazing! Well done! Our good summer sunshine this year obviously helped growth.
Hi Dalintober, well done to you!
Is your allotment on school grounds? Could you e-mail and tell us a little bit about it and how you got started, please. We are trying to earn our first Eco Green Flag and my class is hopefully going to grow vegetables. We were thinking about raised beds. My P6/7 class are our school Gardening Gang and are always looking for ideas to improve our school grounds.
Thank you.
