Carradale Primary School took part in an open day on Thursday 14th September, the purpose of the day was to showcase the schools resources and teaching methods. This was a chance for parents to visit the school and observe the classes in action.Parents were invited to visit both the primary school and Pre 5 unit and were able to engage in their child’s learning.
Mrs. Fiona Lavery-Jones who has three pupils in the school said “This was a wonder opportunity to come and see the school in action, the teaching is exceptional. The well-qualified staff fully understand how children learn and expertly build on their enthusiasm for learning”
Mrs. Laurene McIntosh – Head teacher said “We are very pleased with the attendance at our open day, I feel the parents are able to appreciate the learning that takes place within our school and our children were able to demonstrate the impact of the different teaching techniques used within the school”.
