Take a look inside Cove Park’s new Artist Centre, meet resident artists and get creative with a taste of Cove Park’s ’Hands-On’ programme at their Community Open Day.
This summer Cove Park, Scotland’s international residency centre, opened their new Artist Centre [HERE], the Jacobs Building. They’d like to invite you inside to have a look around and much more besides.
Their resident writers, artists and craftspeople [HERE] offer a warm welcome into their studios where you can find out what they have been working on this Summer. Either join a guided tour starting at the Artist Centre at 2:30pm or 3:30pm to visit the studios, or explore the site at your leisure.
During the afternoon they will have drop-in creative workshops for children and young people, a taster of their forthcoming Hands-On Cove Park [HERE] programme of creative workshops, events and talks for people in Argyll & Bute led by their current and former resident artists.
To end the day (hopefully bathed in sunlight on the decking!), there is a BBQ from 5-6pm.
Cove Park is on the west coast of the Rosneath Peninsula. For information on where to find Cove Park and how to get there visit, HERE
