P6 Skiing: Group 1, Day 3

Today was our third and final day of skiing. We have all improved so much since we started and we are all becoming so much more confident when turning, and when making pizza and chips with our skis. Here are some of our personal reflections on the day:

Liam – I was so clumsy today. I managed to hurt both my thighs!

Beth – I did the yellow slope and the green slope. When I did the green slope, I fell!

Jay – I was able to turn around obstacles on the yellow, green and blue slopes.

Jack – I managed to get onto the red slope today. It was fast and fun.

John – Today was really fun. I managed to get up to the blue slope and now I’d really like to join a skiing club.

Eva – Today was so so fun. I went up to the blue slope. I was a bit nervous at first but thankfully our instructor Ian came down with me.

Nimi – It was a good day! I’m on the blue slope too.

Oliver – I got hurt three times today! I’m ok though. Skiing gets a thumbs up from me.

Isaac – Today was good. I went on the tow myself today and I did it five times!

Olivia – I was confident on the yellow slope and then I managed to go up higher.

Abbie – Today I was building my confidence going down the yellow slope.

India – Today was fantastic. I was confidently going down the blue slope.

It’s been an absolutely fantastic few days and we have all had a brilliant time developing our skills. A big thank you to our outstanding instructor, Ian, who helped us and challenged us to face our fears and give it a go! We all wish we could do it all again.
