Buenas tardes chicos y chicas, ¿has estado trabajando duro hoy?

(Good afternoon boys and girls, have you been working hard today?)

In literacy today you were asked to draw a grid and invite someone in your house to read you the instructions to see if you could follow them correctly. AA (P3SW) sent in a challenge for the teachers to try.  Miss Foote gave it a go and this was her answer. Do you think she read all the instructions carefully?

1) Draw a circle on the blue square
2) Write apple the blue square
3) Write your name on the green star
4) Write banana on the red circle
5) Write 1+1=2 on the red circle

We also enjoyed looking at more of your literacy work from yesterday. OMcG (P3SW) enjoyed making up a character- he is called Moustachio! Can you guess why?

I really liked your character OMcG! I wish I had an extra pair of hands like Moustachio.  I do have  rainbow hair like him this week as I am trying to hide that I really need to visit the hairdressers! (See my picture below).  I wish I also had an extra pair of hands like Moustachio.

Finally, in numeracy you were asked to practise calculating tenths.  I practised by dividing my chocolate bar into 10 equal parts. If I was being sensible, I’d have eaten just 1/10 but I wasn’t and now I have 0/10’s left. 🙁
