Good Afternoon everyone,

I hope you have all enjoyed working on the tasks set for today?

As part of literacy you were asked to watch Newsround and make notes about what they were reporting.  My favourite story was about Captain Tom Moore’s birthday.  He has received over 100’000 birthday cards, plus one from the Queen! Just imagine receiving that many cards!! I wonder where he has displayed them all?

I can see that many of you have also accessed Studyladder today to work on the comprehension task that was set for you.  Well done to:

In numeracy, you were asked to improve your understanding of fractions by cutting food into halves and quarters.  Thank you so much for your lovely pictures;

I have received lots of great examples of home learning. Please remember that you can send pictures of what you have done to the school email address.

LT from P2M has been working hard on his handwriting and spelling his ‘ss’ words.

SR has done some beautiful rainbow writing which she used for playing splat!

SR and OP managed to create 3D models of their bedrooms. SR added a ball bit to hers and OP used Lego to make his.

RMc has been using a mirror to make sure his shapes are symmetrical.

LT has been very busy building 3D Lego models, he seems to have a very big collection.

EG has spent her time creating a beautiful rainbow picture, to remind us to stay positive!

I feel so proud to see how hard you are all working, keep it up!

Good morning and happy Thursday!

We hope you are all well and ready for another Thursday! It has been great to catch up again this week and we are looking forward to hearing from some more of you today.

These are today’s tasks. We hope you enjoy them. We will be looking out on studyladder to see who is managing to answer their comprehension questions correctly. It would be great to see some photos of the fractions task too!
