Nursery- Tuesday 23rd June

Good morning everyone

We hope that you all enjoyed taking part in our sports day activities and that our video made you all laugh and smile.  It sure made the ladies laugh.  For today’s challenge we would like you to make up your own exercise routine just like ‘PE with Prentice’ yesterday.  Can you get your adults to join in with your routine, doing good counting and listening? Miss Prentice is sure everyone can do better listening than the ladies.  Good luck and well done for keeping fit and healthy.

PRE-SCHOOL CHILDREN

Well….. our new primary 1’s are almost ready to move onto the next important chapter in their school careers.  Although we are unable to have our usual nursery showcase this year, the ladies could not let this milestone pass without a little something.  So we have put together a video for you all and we hope that you love it as much as we do.  We just have one piece of advice for our adults……….. have your tissues ready.

Good morning Primary 1!

Here are today’s tasks and this week’s RRS challenge:

Windyknowe Primary School RRS Challenges P1-3 22.6.20

Below you will find a link to  video of Mrs Cook and Julianne showing you how to do equal sharing. It turns out that Julianne needs a lot more practise of this! Learning to share equally is the start of learning how to do division. Perhaps you can find some small objects in your house to share equally today.

If you are coming to see us in the playground on Thursday morning please bring your transition passport, reading book and reading record with you. If you have a science bag please return this too. If you cannot make it then, it would be much appreciated if you could hand these things in to the school office anytime this week. If you did not collect your child’s work and gym shoes last Monday please collect them on Thursday morning. Thank you.

Have a lovely day everyone!
