Library Changes

Just a wee reminder that tomorrow the p.m. children have the opportunity to wear their pyjamas/onesies to school to raise funds for ‘children in need’. The a.m. children should wear their pyjamas on Friday.

Our next Stay and Play is Tuesday 3rd November.  Stay and Play is a great way to informally catch up with the nursery team and see first hand all the activities on offer.

 

We are planning a Halloween Fun Day on Thursday 29th October, children can dress up if they wish and we will provide some Halloween activities.

We are aware the school are having a dress down day on Friday 30th but to ensure afternoon children are included we will have our event on the Thursday.  Instead of bringing money for our dress up/dress down day it would be great if children could bring a donation for the Christmas Fayre tombola or raffle.  Any unused gifts or toiletries, sweets or toys would be very much appreciated.

We have attached some of the learning ideas for this week that the children have discussed with us. The nursery will be collecting food donations all next week for harvest festival and would be grateful for your help. All donations will be passed to Open Door an organisation which helps young homeless people in West Lothian.

Remember nursery is closed for October break from Thursday 15th for PM children and Friday 16th for AM children with all returning Tuesday 27th October.  Happy Holidays.

The children decided they liked having altogether snack “like a picnic”, so now we are having a “picnic” snack every Thursday.  This week pizza was on the menu.
