In Ness, our learning is not just the curriculum. We also learn Life Skills and display them in our class. Today we were able to celebrate 2 life skills in Ness. A big congratulations to Hunter, who went swimming with his P5 class all by himself. He learned to be resilient and overcome his anxiety,
Also, the class were learning to weed our part of the school garden today. We learned about how to be safe using gardening tools.

What an incredible week in Ness Class!
St Mary’s Got Talent: Well, the pupils in Ness certainly have talent as Laura impressed the judges with her dance routine. She was very happy with her performance!
Dominic and Hunter had the crowd in stiches with their stand-up routine. Lot’s of jokes and hilarity abound!
Then today, we all took turns to roll our decorated eggs down the hill at school. We learned that this signified the stone rolling away for the Tomb on Easter Sunday.

What a joy to see the sun shining and feel the temperatures rise. Ness class enjoyed linking their Food Technology learning to planning and then having a picnic in the sun.
We chose our bread, fillings and other acompanyments before packing our picnic and heading to the local park.
A celebration of Books in Ness class helped by Primary 7 pupils this week. We enjoyed our Book Hunt, especially with our P7 friends helping out.
Later that day, we enjoyed making Oat Cookies after writing about our new Superhero Captain Oatie!
