P3 Festive Fun and Solo Talks!

P3 have had a very busy week as we prepared for the Christmas Fayre and took part in our solo talks.

In preparation for the Christmas Fayre, P3 enjoyed making Ruldolph hot chocolates with marshmallows🍫 and snowmen biscuits☃️. We loved preparing these treats and of course we had to taste test the goods!

We also spent time working on our solo talks all about our favourite animals. P3 done an amazing job sharing their knowledge with so much confidence! They demonstrated excellent talking and listening skills, showing respect for one another while presenting. I am so proud of everyone for taking part!

Well done P3 for a fantastic week!😊

P3 Book Week!📚

Last week we celebrated Book Week with lots of exciting activities. We took part in a whole school book swap, and our parents joined us for cosy hot chocolate, biscuits and lots of fun Read, Write, Count activities🍪📚. Primary 3 also had great fun creating book characters from potatoes and joined the school to create a reading river! On Friday, we finished the week by recreating covers of our favourite books. We have had a wonderful week of reading, fun activities and sharing our favourite stories.

Primary 3 Try Healthy Food!

In Health and Wellbeing, P3 have been learning all about food. We found out where food comes from and used the Eatwell Guide to learn about healthy choices.

We also talked about how to stay safe when preparing food, like washing our hands and using equipment carefully.

The best part was making and tasting healthy foods! P3 were fantastic at trying new things and learning that healthy food can be fun and tasty.
