In Nurture Class, we have recently begun an exciting new topic on “Minibeasts.” The children have shown great enthusiasm and curiosity as they learn about the different creatures that live in our environment. We had lots of fun exploring the mud, digging carefully and searching closely to discover which minibeasts were hiding beneath the surface. This hands-on activity encouraged teamwork, observation skills, and a sense of adventure as the children shared their findings with one another

Swing Park Fun in Nurture Class
This week our class enjoyed a lovely trip to the swing park on a beautiful sunny day. The children had a fantastic time playing on the swings, climbing frames, and slides while enjoying the warm weather. There was lots of laughter and excitement as everyone took turns trying the different equipment and playing together. It was wonderful to see the class being so active, supporting each other, and making the most of the sunshine. The trip was a great opportunity for the children to spend time outdoors, build friendships, and have fun together.
Learning to wait together in Nurture Class
This week in Nurture class, the children really enjoyed sharing the story ‘When Whale Won’t Wait’ The colourful illustrations and clear visuals captured their attention and encouraged lots of smiles, engagement, and shared moments. Through adult modelling, symbols, and turn-taking activities linked to the story, the children practised waiting, making choices, and enjoying learning alongside their peers. It was lovely to see the children so settled, engaged, and proud as they took part in the session.
