This week has been full of wonderful learning experiences!
In literacy, the pupils explored stories through sensory activities and working on building their phonics skills using songs, visuals, and hands on resources. Everyone worked really hard on recognising sounds and practising blending at their own level.
In numeracy, we focused on practical, real – life maths. The children enjoyed counting activities, matching numbers, and exploring shapes through play based tasks. We used concrete materials and visual supports to help build confidence and independence.
We made great use of our outdoor learning session too with Ms. Nelson. The class loved exploring the school grounds, taking part in walks and engaging in activities that encouraged communication, teamwork, and problem solving. Being outside really supported regulation.
During P.E. we worked on gross motor skills, balance, and coordination through fun, structure games. The pupils enjoyed moving their bodies, practising taking turns and celebrating each others achievements.
We’re so proud of how well everyone engaged this week – lots of smiles, enthusiasm and great progress all round. 🙂
