St Mary’s Scots Poetry Competition – won by Elise in P6!

This week the Scots Poetry competition took place in the hall. It was a wonderful celebration of Scots language with pupils from each class taking part by reading poems and singing songs.
P6’s Elise won with her recital of The Puddock by John M Caie. Elise gets to take home the coveted Robert Sorbie memorial plaque which will shortly be engraved with her name!
Well done also to Shaheen, Kara and Kymberley and Oliver for reaching the final too! You were all braw!
