P6 work towards final stage of John Muir Award

P6 have had a busy few weeks back at school! Over the next few weeks we will work towards the final stages of the John Muir award. Today we completed the discover and explore section with Mr Lockhart. We discovered some animal footprints and habitats also had time to explore and play in other parts of the wood.

In Literacy, we are continuing to learn about clarifying in our comprehension and whole class novel work. We have started to prepare for our Scots Poetry recitals and will start a new writing topic this week too.

In numeracy we have been learning about square and cubed numbers. And in science we are now researching and writing our own booklets about the solar system.

Great work P6!
