Good Morning everyone,

Well done for all of your efforts over the last 2 weeks when completing our Virtual Sports Fortnight.  Please remember that you have until the end of the school day today to send over any remaining videos or score sheets if you would like your scores to be counted.  PLEASE ENSURE THAT YOU INCLUDE YOUR NAME AND HOUSE WITH YOUR SCORE SHEET.

Today’s task is going to be a fun fitness task.  Please make sure to check the instructions along with the task for each of the exercises if you are unsure of any of the movements.

P7 Monday 8.6 am post

Good morning Primary 7, hope you are well rested after the weekend!

This week is going to be slightly different so please read the instructions below very carefully.

The task that is posted below is your morning work for the whole week. It is a inventions project, and has 2 separate parts to it. All of the instructions about what you have to do are in the document. The tasks contain, numeracy, literacy, research, science – a bit of everything, so should be fun! You have the whole week to complete it so we are expecting work to be completed to a high standard, we are on the countdown to high school so this is the time to show that you can be independent learners and produce some excellent work.

There will be no other tasks posted in the morning for the rest of the week, this project covers lots of curricular areas already.

Many of you will be taking part in transition activities for St Margaret’s this week, if that is the case for you then you do not need to complete any of the morning work.

In the afternoon tasks will be posted as normal and pupils who have been completing their project or working on transition tasks can work through these tasks as they normally would.

Primary 6 B Morning Post

Good Morning ! I hope you had a great weekend. Today we are going to do some Maths and Writing .

Task 1 – Literacy – Writing

Your task this morning is to write a letter to your P7 teacher.  At the moment, I can’t tell you who this is so just begin by saying “Dear P7 teacher”.  Think carefully about what you would want to tell them about you.  Look at the PowerPoint and the planning page and think about how to construct your letter.  Remember you want to give a good first impression of you as a learner and also as someone who will be an asset to P7.  I am really looking forward to reading what you come up with.  If you are able to type these, it will be easier for your P7 teacher to read when they are able to.  Don’t forget to give your blog posts a title so that I can open them!

All about me powerpoint

Task 2 – Maths – Reading scales

One of the topics that we would have covered in school would have been weight.  If you have scales at home (maybe in the kitchen or the bathroom) you can have a go at completing the starter worksheet which asks you to estimate and check.  When you have finished the starter task or if you don’t have scales, complete the worksheets about reading scales and ordering weights.  I will post the answers later.
