P7 AM Tasks 16/6

Good morning P7, we hope you are getting the chance to enjoy the nice weather we have been experiencing!

Today’s Numeracy Work

We are continuing on with our grand designs for numeracy today. Yesterday you created a floor plan for your dream home, today it is about getting the flooring organised. Have a read through the instructions, you will need to use the measurements you calculated to work out how much carpets, tile, wood etc you will need for each room.

We are also continuing on with our work on Edinburgh Castle – yesterday you completed 3 tasks based on the information leaflet, today you will choose another 3 tasks to work through. Your writing tomorrow will be linked to the activities, so make sure you are playing close attention when you complete the tasks.

Primary 5 Tuesday 16th June AM

Good morning everyone. How exciting to be able to give activities to both classes today. I know you looked at some Internet Safety ideas yesterday. I have a couple more questions as part of our Daily Challenge. Then some comprehension and a maths mystery challenge.

Task 1 Sun Survival Checklist

For your first task, you need to imagine being stranded on a desert island. It is very hot and the sun is shining. Which sun safety items would you wish to have with you and  why? Primary 6 Morning Tasks 16-6-20

Good Morning everyone !

Today we are learning more about internet safety. I enjoyed looking at your fantastic work  yesterday. First extend your knowledge by looking at the internet safety PowerPoint. Next choose at least two activities to complete from the options below.

Task  1  Complete the internet worksheet by listing five important rules for keeping safe.

Task 2  Create an internet safety information leaflet for a child of your age. Remember to include a balance of information and illustrations to make it informative but interesting! You can use the templates provided or make your own design.

Task 3  Complete the online safety crossword. The answers will be posted on the blog in the afternoon.

Task 4  Challenge yourself by taking the  online safety quiz.

Good Afternoon P7,

We hope you have enjoyed the chance to be building your dream homes this morning.

This afternoon we are continuing on with our RRS Award work. Remember it is really important to continue learning all about our rights. There is a PowerPoint which has some information and video links to watch before a range of activities for you to complete.  Choose the tasks you want to complete but the remember to share your work on you PLB so we can share them with Mrs Miller.
