This week has been so much fun in p7a!
For our literacy, spelling was all about suffixes. We planned our next piece of writing which is an information report about Scotland and Japan. We based our reading comprehension on a short read about the Giants Causeway. We then carried on our learning about mythical creatures and stories and researched Scottish myths and legends. We are using this information to create a PowerPoint.
In numeracy, we looked at adding fractions with the same denominators, we then learned how to add fractions with different denominators. This was really tricky. We redid our 7 times table this week and we managed to measure angles today.
Our RE focus this week has been the evangelists. We learned about the 4 evangelists and created fact files in our jotters about them. Since October is dedicated to Mary, we also had a rosary on Friday as our area service.
This week our cross country runners had a race, well done to those who went and represented our school.
Well done to this weeks hot chocolate winner Izaan!
Have a nice weekend,
Miss Duddy
