This week has been an exciting and hard-working week for primary 7a.

 

For our literacy this week, we looked at simple plurals in our spelling, we managed to read up to chapter 11 in our class novel ‘Millions’ and we wrote our mystery stories and some even got them typed up!

In numeracy this week, we had the pleasure of welcoming a maths teacher from St Margaret’s to teach us on Monday where we solved the mystery of who killed the shape. We have been simplifying and creating equivalent fractions this week. Today we revised circles and triangles. We have been interacting a lot with Sumdog this week, from diagnostics to competitions and revision for our times tables, we have had lots of fun!

Our RE has continued to be based around saving the animals and we are creating our campaign posters.

We drew Japanese pagoda’s on Wednesday and Thursday and are beginning to colour and decorate these. We have been looking at Da Vinci bridges and we were experimenting with lollipop sticks trying to build them. Everybody gave it their best shot.

On Thursday our outdoor learning unfortunately had to be cancelled due to the unpredictable weather.
