This week the Friendly Dragon brought us the story of Hansel and Gretel. We talked about Children’s Rights and how they were not kept in this story. We also designed our own sweet houses. The Dragon was worried about how much sugar Hansel and Gretel has eaten so it asked us to talk about brushing our teeth so we could help them. We had lots to say! In maths, we learned about Venn Diagrams and sorted different sweets.

On Thursday, we went to the Library and had a talk from the Librarian. We listened to a story of the Princess and the Pea. It was very good! We then got stickers and a special sheet to join the library. We need to take them back to the library to register for a card. We also found out about the Summer Reading Challenge.

We all agreed our highlight of the week was going to the Library.

Congratulations to Grace who is our Hot Chocolate Winner this week. She has been a kind and supportive friend. Well done to Alayha, who is our Reading Champion for this fortnight. She has shown fantastic effort in her reading group.
