This week as part of our learning about Children’s Rights we explored article 6 (life, survival and development) Every child has the right to life. Governments must do all they can to ensure that children survive and develop to their full potential. The children worked in groups to identify things that were important for chidren to survive, develop and thrive to become contributing adults.

In Math P5B were working on identifying 12 hr and 24 hr time to use it for activities in daily life. They have also been developing their data handling skills completing tally charts and bar graphs.

In their writing the children are working on persuasive writing to promote the importance of recycling.

In our outdoor learning we have been weeding the garden areas facing into the playground and hope to plant flowers next week.

Looking forward to a whole week in school next week with no holiday Mondays.
