Primary 7A Weekly Update

Dear Parents,

A quick update for this week.

The children enjoyed working with Mrs McLaughlin on Monday, completing the usual spelling and then starting our Fractions, Decimals and Percentages Assessments which we will finish next week. They particularly enjoyed the Fairtrade art lesson drawing coffee beans and using real coffee as colouring – the results were very effective.

Thursday was our trip to the Glasgow Science Centre and our first trip for years! Both classes were very enthusiastic and enjoyed the Planetarium and the Science Halls and represented the school fantastically well.

On Friday both classes got together again to pray the Stations of the Cross where everyone was very respectful and prayerful. P7A also had PE with Mrs Lafferty and after break we met up with our Buddies to complete a Fairtrade packed lunchbox task.

Here’s what a few P7s had to say on this week’s learning…

“I enjoyed being at the Science Centre, it was the best school trip,” Said Lily.

Zahra said, “I enjoyed working with my buddy and then reading her a book.”

“I enjoyed the tic tac tow robot at the Science Centre,” Said Joshua.

Riley said, “I liked the coffee art because it was fun.”

This week’s Hot Chocolate at Home winner is…

Have a great weekend everyone.
