Dear P6B families,
We have had a excellent last week before the February break – full of lots of learning.
Teacher highlights:
- Starting the research for our new writing topic, Information Reports. Everyone was very engaged and managed to find great facts about their chosen Ecosystem.
- Getting outside on Wednesday morning. We have been looking at coordinates and map reading so we had an excellent opportunity right in our playground to consolidate our learning.
- We got together with P6A and began the work for our research groups about Ecosystems.
- Constructing a floor plan model in maths for our learning of Area.
Pupil highlights:
- Siddharth – Judo session for PE on Friday.
- Summer – Taking part in the STEM challenge. “I enjoyed working together with my team and trying to solve the problems to create a racecourse for the bouncy ball”.
- Alex – Working with P6A for the ecosystem research activity.

Well done to Reece who was this weeks hot chocolate winner. Reece has taken ownership in his own learning this week by creating a resource which will help him in an area of maths he is working on and trying to improve. Very impressed!
Have a lovely, well deserved break P6B!
