Hello families of P2a

This week we have continued to work on subtraction within 20, using many different strategies. We learned how to use a number line to jump back and completed lots of number line challenges.

In writing, we continued to learn about narrative writing and we planned and wrote our own super narrative stories.

We enjoyed learning about different types of jobs and learned new phrases in Spanish. We can now tell people how we feel in Spanish and can ask others how they are.

Our Highlights:

Aadya – I enjoyed Spanish. I learned how to ask ‘how are you?’ and learned different ways to answer this question.

Angel – I liked writing my story about Big Dinosaur and Little Dinosaur.

Zion – My favourite thing was using the rekenreks to do subtraction.

Ollie – I loved dancing in the playground, with the Friday music, with Caleb, Rory and Jack.

Linda – I liked doing ball skills in PE.
