Primary 4B weekly update 13.11.20

We have been very active learners in Primary 4B again this week. We continued learning about how to tell the time and be able to write it in different ways.  We learned different multiplication strategies to help us multiply larger amounts. We have been using dictionaries to find the meaning of our spelling words.  In health and wellbeing this week we have been thinking about Rememberance Day investigating the lives of some of the Scottish Heros who won medals for bravery. We have been trying to be kind this week thinking about “Don’t be a bystander” speaking up when we see others upset. Reminding people to not play rough games in the playground. Reminding people to treat others respectfully and safely. Next week is Anti-Bullying week and we will be carrying out a few activities to help us be good friends with everyone.

Highlights of the week ; Creating our own Wizard cards for Chocolate Frogs, receiving our letters from Hogwarts and being put into our houses for our Harry Potter Topic. In PE Mrs Lafferty is teaching us skills for Quidditch although we won’t be flying our broomsticks just yet. During our Religious lessons we were learning about Divali and worked in our groups to create Rangoli patterns. We had fun practising Los Colores.

Children can now bring in indoor shoes to wear which will be kept in the classroom.
