It has been another full filled week of learning in P1A. A large beanstalk appeared in our classroom made by the Friendly Dragon. We were very excited and imagined ourselves climbing up the beanstalk. We acted this out and imagined what we could see, hear, touch, taste and smell when climbing the beanstalk up to the Giant’s castle. We drew our own beanstalks, some of us added a castle at the top. We also added a photograph of ourselves climbing up and cotton wool for the clouds.

On Wednesday we received a ginormous letter and some footprints from the Giant. He wanted us to use the footprints to measure with. The Giant made an awful mess and knocked things over so we had to tidy it up. We were a bit annoyed with him. On Friday we received a ‘sorry’ letter from the Giant to say the bell ringing scared him and he didn’t get time to tidy up. We completed maths and literacy activities related to Jack and the Beanstalk.
On Tuesday we had a session in the Woodlands with Kids Gone Wild. We had great fun walking across the slack line and using our imagination playing with all the loose parts in the woods. We have another session next Tuesday.

On Thursday we learned about Ascension Day and some of us went to Church .
Have a lovely long weekend everyone and see you on Tuesday.
