Dear Parents and Carers,

This has been a very short week for Primary 7 after returning form the Easter holidays. In Health and Well being, we have been learning about different types of drugs.  We discussed topics such as availability, peer pressure and possible side effects. We are currently designing information posters.

Both classes were lucky enough to have a trip to Sky Up Academy in Livingston on Thursday.  We split into groups and created news reports which will be shown at our class assembly ! We all had different roles, presenter, camera , reporter editor and director!  We have also been researching Scottish politics in preparation for creating our own parties and electing  an MP who will give a speech at our assembly .

In Numeracy , we have been revising division in preparation for learning about long division next week. We worked in pairs to solve puzzle challenges and enjoyed explaining our solutions to the class.

Mrs Morrison has been teaching us about musical notation which we found quite tricky but interesting !

Congratulations to Liam who is our hot chocolate winner this week!

Have a super weekend

Mrs Lea and Primary 7A
