Dear Readers,

This week has been an extra hard working one for P3A, both regarding Maths and Literacy. Here are our highlights:

  • In Maths, we have revised Addition on Monday, Subtraction on Tuesday, Multiplication on Wednesday and Division on Thursday. Today, we have independently completed a Maths assessment to demonstrate how well we are doing and it was great to see everyone working so focused and concentrating so much on their tests!πŸ‘πŸ‘
  • In Literacy the week has started with our new spelling words, which we got to practise every day when we came in the morning. We have also learned to properly answer in full sentences,Β  by going to the question, extracting the most important words and starting our answers with them. To make sure we could all do it, we have been challenged to make up our own full sentence answers to which Mrs Valente had to guess the questions! And we all did it! it was great! Once again, we have practised our note taking technique while we were watching a super interesting clip about our topic and we all managed to do it as well! Mrs Valente was very, very proud! After having our notes we then had to use them to make our full sentence answers to Mrs Valente’s questions about the clip. Again, it was amazing to see how well we did! Finally, we ended the week with our Spelling Assessment!😴πŸ₯±What a tiring week!🀣
  • Topic has also taken a lot of our time and we continue learning about the different animals that are endangered and the reasons for that to happen, of course!πŸ’πŸ¦’πŸ¦
  • Our Art was simply amazing and we almost can’t wait to show you our work! This week we got to draw our own gorillas and red squirrels and they are the cutest!
  • We would like to congratulate Kayla for being again the Hot Chocolate of the week!!!!!!!πŸ‘πŸŽ‰πŸ₯‡πŸ†πŸ₯°Well done!

  • Also, we congratulate Kayla’s House, Gryffindor, for winning the prize of the House of the week due to their good behaviour, kindness, neatness and readiness to learn!Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Go, go, Gryffindor!!!!!!!πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰
  • Finally, best congratulations to the boys and girls in our class who have managed to earn super play time this Friday! It was lovely to see them playing with Mrs Callaghan and to know that they really deserved it! From now on, everyone can be chosen, they just need to be Ready, Respectful and Safe everyday throughout the week! Well done to Izaan, Kayla, Pola, Emily, Eva and Kyle!πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ₯‡πŸ₯‡πŸ₯‡πŸ₯‡πŸ₯‡πŸ₯‡βœ¨πŸŽˆ

We hope you have enjoyed reading this post and wish you an amazing long weekend!
