Well done p4b, for completing another term!!

In science, we mixed milk and vinegar together to make a form of plastic called casein plastic.  This was used just after the Industrial Revolution.

In numeracy, we finished our fractions topic.  We worked hard to understand equivalent fractions and then we did some fractions problems, which we had solve using bar models.  We finished with an assessment on Sumdog.

In literacy and writing, we did some revision on conjunctions and we also edited our information reports.

In RME, we read the Easter Story and learnt about the stations of the cross as we learnt about how Jesus was betrayed and crucified.

We were also thrilled to have a visit from one of Mrs Ross’ bunny rabbits for Easter.

Highlights:

Alexa, Stefi and Dhanvi: We liked doing science when we made casein plastic because it felt like slime.

Layla: I liked finishing off fractions because it got a bit harder and I liked the challenge.

Jude: I liked editing the writing because I liked learning how to spell the words and using the dictionary.

Have a wonderful Easter everyone!!

Mrs Brown
