It has been a short yet exciting week this week.
As it was World Book Day yesterday, we introduced our new book focus:

We had a lovely discussion about the different pages as we read through it together. We are really interested about understanding how the world works (plus it links brilliantly with our recycling topic) so we’ve done lots of geography based on the book. We’ve looked at the planets in our Solar System, and then focused on Earth, learning about the oceans and continents and the different climate zones. We all enjoyed singing along to the Continent Song on YouTube!

Here are some of our highlights from this week:
Layla: I liked finding the notes and rhythms with Mrs de Luen because I liked the challenge.
Amelia: I loved the Masked Reader because it was fun to guess who was behind the mask.
Alexa: I enjoyed doing PE because I enjoyed reading when the bell went.
Khael: I enjoyed doing our World Book Day Book, which is called Here We Are, Notes for living on Planet Earth. I liked the activities.
Jude: I liked doing the climate zones because I didn’t know about them before.
Well done to Szymon, our hot chocolate winner.
Have a lovely weekend everyone!
