P4A Learning this week : 1st April

Another fun week of learning in P4A.  We have been very busy this week where we have learned all about the Easter story – from Jesus arriving in Jerusalem on Palm Sunday through to his Resurrection.

Our First Communion boys and girls enjoyed visiting St Peters on Wednesday where Fr Simon showed us all different parts of the church and explained lots of the different parts of Mass.  We also talked about how to receive Holy Communion.  We were all able to share our knowledge with Fr Simon as we have been listening very respectfully and practicing our prayers during our Communion lessons.

For our exposition writing, we explored different verbs for thinking, feeling and sensing.  We worked with partners to sort the words and used some of them in an activity.

We made Easter cards with moving parts and are delighted that our Roman Pots are now finished and we are taking them home.

Everyone is looking forward to our Easter holidays and we are crossing our fingers (and toes) for some nice weather.

Our hot chocolate winner this week is Aarya.  Well done on being Ready, Respectful and Safe all week.
